With Back To School Here Your Skincare Routine Should Be Easiest Part Of The Day.

Look, I get it.

Between work, kids, grocery runs, and that random science project your child forgot to mention until 9:47 pm… who’s got time for a 10-step skincare routine?

Not us.

And honestly? We don’t need it.

Create an image of a mom getting ready in the bathroom, putting on a Sarah on her face next to her have her two children Brushing their teeth with their backpacks on make the imagine African-American woman, 28 years old

Not us.

And honestly? We don’t need it.

Here’s the thing: skincare doesn’t have to be complicated to work.

In fact, the easier it is, the more likely you are to actually… you know… do it.

So here’s my mom-slash-best-friend advice:

1. Pick products that multitask harder than you do.

If a scrub can cleanse, exfoliate, and leave you moisturized before you’ve even toweled off—boom, that’s a keeper. Think “one-and-done” instead of “15 little jars staring at me from the bathroom shelf.”

2. Choose scents you can’t wait to smell.

If your lotion smells like vacation or fresh-baked cookies, suddenly applying it feels less like a chore and more like a treat. And girl, we deserve treats.

3. Make it part of something you’re already doing.

Face serum right after brushing your teeth. Body oil while you’re still damp from the shower. Tie it to something you never skip, like caffeine or checking your phone in the morning.

Because here’s the truth: it’s not about how fancy your routine is. It’s about keeping a routine at all. And if it makes you feel good in your skin—and gives you that tiny boost before school drop-off or a Zoom call—it’s 100% worth it.

So simplify it. Enjoy it. And please, no guilt—your skincare routine is self-care. And self-care is not optional.

Now go glow, my friend. ✨
